A prova este bem aonde esta , na minha opinião.
em 2017 a volta ao Alentejo será antes da volta ao Algarve por isso não a necessidade..

Algo a rondar os 1200 ou 1300m é facilmente transitável durante esse mês e assim sempre dava para competir com provas tipo a Andalucia.
Chegadas em sítios como as Penhas Douradas, Guarda, Sabugueiro e mesmo nas Penhas da Saúde dariam sempre para bons finais.
Se a ideia é promover a região a melhor altura do ano para o fazer é Fevereiro.

I know very little about the National Calender in Portugal, even less of your nice language. So sorry asking this in english.

It's about this new race discussed in this thread. I added a race to PCM some time ago from this forum, Volta à Beira Baixa, that seems to be from the same area in Portugal. Question is of course if these two races are the same ? Or if this new race have replaced Volta à Beira Baixa. They are also in about the same time, month of May.
Any info about this in English would be very helpful.

If anyone cares a member has "created" this new race for PCM, which can found both in pcmdaily and legruppetto. You might try it out.
It looks good enough.

I'm not totally sure, but yeah this race is the substitute of Volta a Beira Baixa, but this is a more embracing race with several regions included (Beira Baixa is one of that regions).

Yes, as Roche said this race has replaced Volta à Beira Baixa, which was a 2.12 race (National Event) only, and took part in the southern area of this new race territory. Now it has an international status, and it should remain in the UCI Europe Tour calendar as a 2.1 race in the near future, since there is some support from the region and its municipalities.

Anything else feel free to ask. And thanks for the heads up on the race having been created for Pro Cycling Manager.
