First my apologies of posting this here, but it might be usefull since I know that a lot of PCM Daily-users also enjoy the work at the PPDB-site, where we announced a release of an expanded 2010 version last night.

Minutes after that release the site has been hacked, and more worse: destroyed. Technicians at our provider couldn't help me today, it seems they ruined the forum in a way that also backups will not be accepted. According to the technician the hackers left all datapackages alone, but destroyed all connections between them. Like taking the cement away between the bricks, so it all fell apart and nobody will ever be able to build it up the way it was. Again, according to that technician.

Our wizzkid is on holiday and not expected back within a week or so, that same technician gave a 10% chance that he might have stored some original coding somewhere that could save the history of PPDB.

I'm very sorry for the ones who waited for the release, and moreover for all the ones who enjoyed the communtty through the years to play the game, to chat, talk and even meet and make friends in person.

On top of the bill my account at FileFront, where I placed the new release, seems to be gone as well. In each case I don't have access at the moment, so I can't even provide you with the two links of our latest (and sad, but probably last) work.

For me it all ends here. Sorry for using this forum for this message, my own died yesterday night.

Basicamente esse senhor não gostou do que certo membro disse dele e em vez de dizer para chamarmos a atenção ao dito membro, começou a disparatar que fazia queixa e que arranjava maneira de acabar com o site judicialmente, o que é ridículo, pois nós não temos como é óbvio responsabilidade sobre o que cada membro diz ou deixa de dizer. E continuou a bater na mesma tecla até que decidiu abandonar o fórum porque não fizemos a vontade ao excelentíssimo senhor Paulo Martins, que agiu de modo mais infantil que certos miúdos com 13 anos e menos que se vão vendo aqui pelo fórum.

Por um lado, como é óbvio, tenho pena que ele tenha decidido assim, mas por outro lado também tenho pena de um senhor com aquela idade e com o papel que desempenha no ciclismo português como comentador não tenha juízo e tenha dito o que disse.

Isso não sei. Só achei estranho a altura em que o ataque se deu.

Foi o que pensei. E a primeira hipótese que me veio à cabeça foi uma certa coisa começada em V e acabada em FX.
